Finally got round to fitting the boost gauge, went with a Stack pro control unit in the end, had Defi, Blitz, SPA etc in the past, so though i would try one of these. Xdata tag 100 is missing autocad 2016. Nice unit, ticks all the right boxes, colour change option etc, but the main thing i wanted was peak recall in a standalone unit. I like the Defi racer one, but the lack of peak recall bothered me, and i didnt want to go down the BF route and have to buy/use the con box. Remote boost sensor supplied, install was simple enough, which makes a change Door card off, fed wires through the rubber boot in the A pillar that carries the door loom in to the door, then tapped into the electrics around the steering column. Big thanks to Paul (Neverneverman ) for the wiring of the gauge, i am ****ing hopeless at anything electrickery orientated Didnt want to go the 'stuck on' with tape route, nor the usual A pillar mount or hooded binnacle either, vision is bad enough in a X as it is without putting other obstacles in the field of view. Sat in my seat, had a look round for a suitable position and this seemed the most obvious.
