Tx Drivers License Expired Grace Period
Dammit, my license expired last week -- I'm going in to get it renewed later this week, BUT, in the interim, I have to fly for work today and tomorrow. I understand that TSA will accept a license that's less than one year expired for proof of ID, but does anyone have any different info?

Texas drivers who have an expired driver’s license may not be able to renew their documents, unless it has been less than two years since the expiration date. TX drivers can even renew a license two years after its expiration date by submitting an application packet. A drivers license in the State of Texas expires every six years which is why a Texas drivers license renewal is important. Driver license renewal can be done by phone, mail, online, or by a visit in person to the Driver License Division of the Texas Department of Public Safety. Expired license = no license technically and legally no institutions will recognize it (the bank, the liquor store, etc) you can go to jail for driving with an expired license (it's happened to a couple people i know in texas, not sure about your state). ND Drivers License Sites: There are two options for renewing your drivers license. One option is to make an application in person at a drivers license site. You will need to bring your current North Dakota License and the proper renewal fee.
