Hello Everyone, As far as I have found, there is no driver for the GeForce 6-series and GeForce 7-series cards under Windows 10, and none planned. See 'GeForce 309.08 Driver' 'Legacy Support Notification: GeForce 6-series and GeForce 7-series GPUs will be moved to legacy support after GeForce R304 drivers (304.xx to 309.xx). GeForce R310 drivers will not support these products.' I, myself, have an NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GS card.
I'm currently running Windows 10 Pro Insider Preview, Build 10130, in Oracle VM VirtualBox, under Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1. The display driver used by VirtualBox is the 'VirtualBox Graphics Adapter for Windows 8.' So, it looks like we will have to get new graphics cards. Might as well get that new 'touch screen' as well. I've been looking for a windows 10 drivers for my Nvidia 7300 LE cards for my dell dimension E520. Windows 10, Automaticly installed Microsoft Basic Display Adapter Driver for it. I came in here, And I tried the nVidia 309.08 Driver that, I downloaded from their Geforce.com website.
Everything works fine, my display is now working with the highest resolution it can. Here are my steps.
Download driver from nvidia 2. Unpack the drivers into a folder. Do not continue with the installation. Go to Device Manager, Select Microsoft Generic Display and right click on it. Select update drivers and browse your computer for the folder you had just unpack the Nvidia drivers in. Select ok, and Windows will update the right drivers for you. P.S there is no need to select which drivers from the folder.

The $$$$ man. I am a bit late for this discussion, nevertheless I need some help, if possible: I went through all the recommended steps, but I am stuck with the Win 10 message, that the (basic display) driver is the lates version and there is no need for a new driver.
Nvidia 7300 Gt Driver Windows 10 Reviews
I cannot skip this message and Win10 will not load the Nvidia driver. The funny thing is, that at an earlier stage win10 easily accepted the Nvidia driver and the screen res was fine. But I had to delete this earlier attempt to get Win10 running, because it deleted all my data (and I went back to an ealiere Win7 image I had saved). Has anybody a recommendation how to convince the basic display driver, to step back and make place for the Nvidia driver? Thanks for any help. Driver pentax optio e20 digital camera.
