I read somewere that you should reset your phone and because I had my phone for some days I didn't bother about my downloaded apps. So I went to 'settings >', 'About' > 'reset your phone'. I connected my phone again and to my suprise it started downloading the required drivers. And now it works fine!!!!!!!

Here’s a little trick that will let you enable USB Tethering on the ans Windows Phone 7 devices: - Open the phone dialer and tap: dial ##634# and press call -Once you are in diagnosis mode, dial: *#7284# and you will then have to select Tethered, Modem Call. -Your device will then have to reboot.
